Keep access right as people move between departments
Built for the organisations inside and around a municipality that run their own IT: the parking company, the grounds service, the housing company. Adcyma updates access automatically across Microsoft Entra ID and on-prem Active Directory.
What this looks like day to day
Municipal companies and public units, from parking and grounds services to housing and waste, have constant movement: staff change units, summer workers arrive and leave, and contractors come in for projects. Every move means group memberships, mailboxes, and system access that someone has to remember to change.
Most run a hybrid environment, with some systems on Microsoft Entra ID and others still tied to on-prem Active Directory. Keeping the two in step by hand takes time, and the changes that get missed accumulate as access nobody intended.
- Staff who changed departments years ago still have access from their old role
- Summer workers and interns get accounts quickly, but nobody closes them on time
- Hybrid AD and Entra ID means every change is done twice, or only once
- When an auditor asks who has access to what, the answer takes days to assemble
The short version
How Adcyma solves this
Adcyma connects to Microsoft Entra ID and on-prem Active Directory and keeps access tied to role, department, and employment dates.
Lifecycle management
When someone changes department, their access changes with them. Start and end dates from your HR data drive accounts automatically.
See lifecycle managementHybrid AD and Entra ID
One set of rules covers both directories, so a change made once lands everywhere it should.
How hybrid support worksGovernance and evidence
Access reviews and logs give you a clear answer when an auditor or NIS2 assessment asks who has access to what.

Connect your directories
Connect Microsoft Entra ID and on-prem Active Directory. Adcyma reads your existing users, groups, and structure.
Bring in the people data
Point Adcyma at your HR data, or manage people directly in the Adcyma portal if there is no system to connect. Either way, accounts know who works where, and from when to when.
Set the rules
Define what access each department and role means. Existing staff are matched against the rules, and gaps become visible.
Let the moves run
From then on, department changes, arrivals, and departures update access automatically, with a log of everything.

Common questions
Does Adcyma work with on-prem Active Directory, not just Entra ID?
Yes. Adcyma manages both Microsoft Entra ID and on-prem Active Directory, which is the normal setup in the public sector. Rules you define apply across both.
Do we need consultants to set it up?
No. Adcyma is built so your own IT team can deploy it in days. If you can administer Entra ID, you can run Adcyma.
How does this help with NIS2?
NIS2 expects control over who has access to systems and the ability to show it. Adcyma gives you automated lifecycle processes, access reviews, and exportable evidence, which covers the identity part of that.
Can we handle temporary staff like summer workers?
Yes. Accounts can be created with an end date from the start, so access closes on its own when the engagement ends.
We are a small municipal company, not the whole municipality. Is Adcyma the right size?
That is exactly the size Adcyma is built for: organisations of roughly 50 to 1000 people, like a municipal company or a single administration. We are not a platform for managing an entire municipality.
