Pricing Tier Policy

1. Overview

This Pricing Tier Policy outlines the terms and conditions for managing user limits within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) system. It applies to all customers who have subscribed to either a monthly or annual plan.

2. User Tiers and Credits

2.1 User Limits

  • Annual Plans: When you purchase an annual plan, you are allocated a maximum user limit as specified in the plan. For example, the “50-250” plan allows up to 250 users.
  • Monthly Plans: When you purchase a monthly plan, you are allocated a maximum user limit as specified in the plan. For example, the “50-250” plan allows up to 250 users.

2.2 Credits for Exceeding User Limits
We provide a credit of 10% of the maximum user limit for the plan you purchase. This means you can exceed your plan’s user limit without incurring additional charges up to this credit threshold.

  • For example, with the “50-250” plan, you can have up to 275 users (250 + 10% of 250) without additional charges until your next payment.

3. Growth and Tier Upgrades

3.1 Monitoring User Growth
We monitor your user count throughout the subscription period. If your user count exceeds the maximum limit by more than 10% of the plan’s threshold, it automatically triggers an upgrade to the next tier.

3.2 Upgrade and Charges

  • Annual Plans: Upon exceeding the user limit by more than 10%, your subscription will be upgraded automatically to the next tier effective from the beginning of the following month. You will be charged according to the pricing of the upgraded tier.
  • Monthly Plans: Upon exceeding the user limit by more than 10%, your subscription will be upgraded automatically to the next tier effective from the beginning of the following month. You will be charged according to the pricing of the upgraded tier.

4. Additional Terms

4.1 Notification of Exceeding Limits
You will be notified if you are approaching or exceeding the 10% credit threshold. Notifications will be sent via email or via phone.

4.2 Adjustments
If you believe that there has been an error in the user count or if you wish to dispute the charges, please contact our support team within 30 days of receiving the notification.

4.3 Plan Changes

4.3.1 Increasing Tier

  • Annual Plans: You can upgrade your tier plan at any time. Upgrades will take effect from the beginning of the next annual subscription year, and the new rate will be reflected in the invoice for that year.
  • Monthly Plans: You can upgrade your tier plan at any time. Upgrades will take effect starting from the beginning of the next calendar month, and the new rate will be reflected in the invoice for that month.

Scenario for Annual Plan
A company has paid for an annual subscription from March 2024 to March 2025 for the 250-500 user tier at €699. In October 2024, the company upgrades to the 500-750 user tier, which costs €849.

Invoice Calculation:

  • Old Plan (250-500 users): €699 per year
  • New Plan (500-750 users): €849 per year
  • Annual Difference: €849 – €699 = €150
  • Monthly Difference: €150 / 12 months = €12.50 per month

Remaining Months: November 2024 to March 2025 (5 months)
Additional Amount: €12.50 × 5 months = €62.50

Explanation:

When the company upgrades in October 2024, the new rate will be effective from the start of the next annual subscription year, i.e., from March 2025. To adjust for the change in plan during the current year, an invoice will be sent in November 2024 for the difference in cost between the two plans for the remaining months of the current subscription year.
Invoice Amount in November 2024: €62.50

4.3.2 Decreasing Tier
You can decrease your tier plan at any time. However, such changes will take effect:

  • Annual Plans: at the start of the next annual billing period, with the reduced rate reflected in the next invoice.
  • Monthly Plans: at the start of the next monthly billing period, with the reduced rate applied to the subsequent invoice.
